As per Section 2.11.2 of the Request for Proposal documentation, any amendments to the Request for Proposal will be notified on this page.
RFP Amendment 1:
RFP section 2.3.2.2 originally read:
"An Australian Technical College must, by the start of the school year in which it is intended to provide education to students, have links to one or more RTOs which are registered with the State Training Authority in the State or Territory in which it intends to operate or must itself be an RTO in that State or Territory. The RTO(s) must be registered to deliver nationally accredited vocational training in the trades specified in the Proposal which will result in, or form part of a national Training Package qualification."
The section has been amended to read:
"An Australian Technical College must, by the start of the school year in which it is intended to provide education to students, have links to one or more RTOs which are registered with a State Training Authority under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) or must itself be an RTO. The RTO(s) must be registered to deliver nationally accredited vocational training in the trades specified in the Proposal which will result in, or form part of a national Training Package qualification."
The section has been amended because:
Under the AQTF, mutual recognition allows an RTO to operate in all States and Territories once it is registered in a State/Territory without a further recognition process or the payment of additional fees.
