2005 Expressions of Interest

Advertisements calling for initial Expressions of Interest in establishing Australian Technical Colleges were placed in the national and regional press on the weekend of 12-13 November 2004.

Following the 18 February 2005 closing date, over 160 Expressions of Interest have been received. The Expressions of Interest have been submitted by a range of organisations including employers, employer and industry associations, schools, local government organisations, and education and training providers. Expressions of Interest have been received for all of the 24 regions.

The Department wrote to all individuals and organisations that have submitted an Expression of Interest seeking permission to publish their contact details on this website. This will provide a further opportunity for interested parties to contact each other and generate discussion about potential partnerships within each region prior the formal Request for Proposal announcement in late March.

Please note that:

  • not all interested organisations have returned their permission forms;
  • this site will be updated regularly as new forms are received;
  • the lodgement of an Expression of Interest does not preclude individuals or organisations from submitting a proposal and it is likely that some groups have not yet alerted the Department to their interest in establishing an Australian Technical College.
