The Australian Technical College - Hunter commenced operations in 2007. The College operates as a non-government school for Year 11 and 12 students from a new purpose built facility at Maitland.
Students complete their Senior Secondary Certificate of Education and commence a Certificate III trade course. The College actively seeks Australian School-based Apprenticeships for the students. Students are involved in a minimum of 100 days of work placement over the two years. The innovative 5 days a fortnight timetable facilitates students’ engagement in work placements while completing their HSC.
The College offers trade training in electrotechnology, building and construction, metal and engineering and automotive.
Australian Technical College – Hunter Ltd, manages the College and includes industry representation and representatives of education and training providers. The Chair, Mr Peter Wakeman, is the Financial Director of Sun Energy.

The Australian Technical College - Port Macquarie commenced operations in January 2006. It now operates from two campuses, Boundary Road, Port Macquarie and at the former Hot Tuna factory in Taree, Manning Valley.
Students complete their Senior Secondary Certificate of Education while undertaking an Australian School-based Apprenticeship. They spend one day per week as well as block periods in the workplace over the two years.
At both Port Macquarie and Manning Valley campuses, training is offered in metal and engineering, construction, furniture making, electrotechnology and automotive. Commercial cookery is also offered at the Port Macquarie VOCOL Campus.
There is strong industry support in both Port Macquarie and Taree for the Australian Technical College. Mr John McGuigan, Managing Director of John Oxley Motors in Port Macquarie, is the chairperson of the College Board.

The Australian Technical College – Central Coast is a non-government school and currently operating from interim premises. A site for permanent facilities is still being negotiated.
The College enables students to undertake their Year 12 Higher School Certificate in conjunction with trade training in either metal & engineering, building & construction, or commercial cookery trades through an Australian School-based Apprenticeship at the Certificate III level.

The Australian Technical College - Illawarra is currently operating from interim premises in Bridge Street, Coniston.
The College commenced operations in January 2007 and currently offers students the opportunity to complete their Year 12 Higher School Certificate and commence an Australian School-based Apprenticeship at the Certificate III level in engineering, building and construction, commercial cookery or electro-technology.
The College programme provides for students to undertake on-the-job training with their employer on a two day per week basis.
The College is a non-government school and provides opportunities for students to participate in the College in areas outside of Wollongong such as the Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands.

The Australian Technical College - Western Sydney is a non-government school for Year 11 and Year 12 students. The College is currently located at Marayong.
Students at the College start an Australian School-based Apprenticeship at the Certificate III level while they complete their Higher School Certificate. The trades on offer include commercial cookery, building and construction, automotive and electro-technology. The College offers a specialised integrated academic and trade training programme that enables students to undertake block periods of on-the-job training with their employer.
The College has extensive industry and community support with representatives from a number of industry associations on the College Board.

The Australian Technical College – Queanbeyan and Region commenced operations in February 2008. The College operates as a non-government school for Year 11 and 12 students from a campus located in Queanbeyan.
Students complete their Higher School Certificate (HSC) while undertaking an Australian School-based Apprenticeship in one of trades offered by the College. The College’s curriculum will allow for block delivery of trade training.
The College offers trade training in building and construction, automotive, commercial cookery and electrotechnology.
